My name is Lachlan Asher and my passion for humanitarian service began as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I had the privilege to serve in the melting pot of New York City where I encountered a multitude of languages and cultures.
Since then I've travelled to over 50 countries, working with artisans, community leaders and cultural promoters to improve lives.
Now my goal is to help others experience the satisfaction of meaningful service through projects focused on education, self reliance sport and conservation.
In addition to serving, we also aim to learn from different cultures and gain a sincere appreciation for their faith traditions.
Through deeper understanding we build bridges of friendship and trust.
About the Expeditions
The price of each expedition covers accommodation, two meals a day (breakfast and lunch or dinner), service projects, cultural enrichment activities and ground transportation.
Airfare is not included but we are happy to suggest best routes and money saving tips.
Expeditions are limited to a maximum of 8 people in order to focus on person to person interaction and to reduce disruption to the local community.
Our goal is to increase understanding between different faiths and cultures while making a tangible contribution to those who need it most.
